Road Track Race Track Days 2011 was a be a big year at organised track days for us as we have several customers whose cars were not only driven to and from the track but also participated in the days track action. With so many Rockets hitting the road this year 2012 will be even bigger for us. It's not just the Mev Rocket that hit the track, we have just ordered a quaife LSD for the 3.38:1 diff that we are fitting into one customers Yamaha R1 powered MEV Atomic to give it a top speed of 135mph and blistering acceleration. A surprise star of the track has been the tR1ke. Due to using the R1's chain drive it's gearing means it will hit 70mph in 1st gear... MEV ROCKET RACE SERIES Planned for 2012 is the MEV Rocket Race Series. Our Race Rocket is undergoing extensive testing in preparation for competing in the 2012 750mc Kit Car championship. Prices of the race cars will be in the region of £16,000 for the 130bhp 1.8 Zetec powered car with the self build option being approximately £12,000. The series will not only have full factory support but will also be offered on a pay and drive basis for those unable to commit to a full seasons racing.
