What does a dump valve do?

Quite simply it helps to release the excess pressure built up by the turbo after the
turbo has been boosting. This has the effect of stopping the turbo blades from
stalling thus easing the pressure on the turbo bearings, prolonging the life of the
turbo and improving throttle response

The Evil Twin Smart car dump valve is a piston dump valve and tends to be preferred
by those that don't wish their dump valve to be too noisy or obtrusive.
They also require far less maintainence thandiaphragm turbos and are extremely reliable.

We have now covered over 40,000 miles in a Smart fitted with an Evil Twin dump valve.
This product has been extensively tested and it's compact size is due to it being
specifically designedfor use with the Smart car turbo
